Abner Martins dos Santos Pinto, a Brazilian striker has joined Ghana Premier League outfit, Elmina Sharks.
According to the reports the player's agents Rodrigo S Dalla Rosa and Sebastian Diericx brokered the deal after talks with Elmina Sharks owner Dr.Papa Kwesi Nduom.

“I'd like to thank Elmina Sharks FC for giving us this opportunity along with Dr.Papa Kwesi Nduom and commitee members involved in the process.
“Looking forward to start my new journey in my new club and to see what the future holds for the Sharks during the @ First Capital Plus Bank Premier League and FA Cup."

Pinto, 27, has had stints with Marsaxlokk, FC Swieqi Utd, Portomosense, Melita and Atl. Granadilla.
Elmina sharks are currently 12th on the league log of the Ghana Premier league and are just two points above the relegation zone, hence the signing of the Brazilian would boost their bid to survive in the Ghanaian topflight league.
Meanwhile, Yaw Acheampong is reported to have replaced coach Kobina Amissah who was asked to step aside by the club.
