Woman kills pregnant neighbour and cuts the baby out of her womb

NY Daily News reported that Brooke Crews lured the deceased from Fargo into her room upstairs in August last year to help her with a sewing project.

The news portal further reported that the convict then hit LaFontaine-Greywind and she fell on the ground unconscious. While she faded in and out of consciousness, prosecutors said the convict used a “utility knife or a blade,” to cut out the baby from her womb.

Prosecution said after the poor woman bled to death, her body was wrapped in plastic and dumped in a river which was later found by kayakers and the baby was found by investigators in the couple’s apartment.

When Brooke Crews’ boyfriend appeared in court, the 32-year-old William Hoehn said he came home to meet her girlfriend cleaning their bathroom which was full of blood and told him, “This is our baby, tis is our family.”

The baby’s father, Ashton Matheny told the court that the gruesome murder of his girlfriend “tore him apart.” He named the baby girl, Haisley Jo.
