Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, the founder of the Light House Chapel, has called on the family of the late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama to sympathise with them.

The late army officer and his wife Barbara are members of the Light House Chapel.

Bishop Dag Heward-Mills with other leaders of the church visited to sign the book of condolence and also sympathize with her [Barbara Mahama] and the entire family.

He also encouraged her to be strong in the Lord.

He quoted 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 as his consolation message to the bereaved family. He said "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so..."

Meanwhile, the police have so far arrested  42 persons in connection with the gruesome  murder of Captain Mahama.

The Deputy Director of Public Affairs at the Ghana Police Service, DSP Sheila Kesse Buckman in an interview on Accra-based Starr FM said the youngest among the suspects is a 12-year-old whiles the oldest is a 57–year-old man.

She said "We have arrested 42 suspects which we believe to be directly connected to the murder of the deceased. Some of them were arrested in the Central region, Western and others from the Ashanti region. The youngest is a 12–year old boy and the oldest is a 57-year-old man."
