Cards used by students to check their placements in Senior High Schools (SHS) have run out in some regions.
Parents and Junior High School (JHS) graduates who rushed to complete their online processes to access the 2017 SHS placements were left stranded with the shortage of cards.

According to reports, the cost of the placement cards available in some regions had been inflated by GH¢2.
Some parents who spoke to Accra-based Starr FM, said there has been a shortage of the cards since Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
In the Ashanti, Eastern and Western regions, for instance, some Internet cafés have run out of supply of the cards completely.
However, officials of the Ghana Post regions said arrangements have been made to secure more cards.

An official of the Ghana Post said "We are pleading with you to come after 12 noon, we assure you that the cards will be around soon and after 12 you will all get placement. No matter the number we will serve all of you. So please come after 12."
