Nii Lantey Vanderpuye hits out at GFA after Black Stars B failure

The Black Stars B were denied a place in the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) on home spoil by their Burkinabe counterparts last weekend

Ex-sports Minister Nii Lantey Vanderpuye has slammed the Ghana Football Association over the failure of the Black Stars B to reach the 2018 African Nations Championship to be staged in Kenya.

Ghana held Burkina Faso to a two all draw in Ouagadougou two weeks ago, but they suffered a shocking exit after they lost 1-2 in Kumasi to their West African neighbours.

The technical team and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have come under intense criticisms by fanatics and connoisseurs of the game and Nii Lantey Vanderpuye is the latest to add to the growing list of critics.

“I was expecting us to qualify after drawing 2-2 away, but I’m not surprised because this is what I have been talking about for a while now”, he told Joy FM.

“If we continue to develop the “cow dung” management style over the management of our football we will always reap this result”.
