Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo popularly referred to as Sarkodie has said that he does not really like alcohol.

He said that he has taken champagne and wine on few occasions.

“I have tried champagne. That has alcohol, right? yeah! And you know why? because it’s funny. They give it to me for free every time. And I feel like I am wasting it. So sometimes, I have a glass, I try it and it will never get finished and hold it throughout the whole club scene."

“I think I have tasted win. But no Adonko. Yeah! so wine, red wine but not a fan of alcohol,” he added.

The ‘Highest’ rapper was speaking at the 7th Edition of ‘Lead Series.

Many people think that celebrities smoke, drink a lot of alcohol, womanise if they are male and date a number of men if they are women.

Some are even associated with homosexuality and other vices.

However, Sarkodie insisted that he does not like alcohol even though that is the perception in the public.
