Ghanaian boxer Brimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku, has refuted reports that he is set to retire following his loss to Samir Bastie.
According to him, there is still much more he can offer Ghana boxing and will only retire in 2021.
The former WBO Africa Light Heavyweight champion was handed his first professional defeat last Saturday when he faced Bastie at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
Bukom Banku was optimistic going into the bout, but could not last for 12 rounds in the ring against his well-drilled opponent.

Despite starting the bout on a high, Banku ended up on the losing side after being knocked out in the seventh round.
The boxer has since been heavily trolled on social media, with certain quarters even suggesting that he is set to call time on his career.
However, Bukom Banku has rejected such claims, insisting he has four more years of fight in him.

“I have not retired yet. I have four more years to retire. I have decided to ignore the insults from people because I don’t want those negative comments to affect me,” the boxer remarked.
Bukom Banku’s record now stands at 29 fights, one loss and no draws.
