Ayew brothers absent from training ahead of double header

Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew were missing in action when Black Stars resumed training ahead of their double-header against Mexico and USA.

Ghana will Mexico on June 28, before taking on USA on July 1 in the United States of America.

Bllack Stars who hammered Ethiopia 5-0 on 11th June at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi resumed from virtually a one-week break.

However, 21 players turned up for training with four players absenting themselves after the resumption, namely Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Jonathan Mensah and Afriyie Acquah.

Earlier reports have stated that the Ayew brothers have opted out of the Black Stars double header against Mexico and USA and their absence at training seems to confirm them.

James Kwesi Appiah, the head coach of the Black Stars and his 1st assistant coach, Ibrahim Tanko and the 2nd assistant coach Maxwell Konadu  were both present, in addition to Technical Coordinator of the team, Stephen Appiah and the goalkeepers trainer, Richard Kingston were also present  at training.
