Some alleged land guards have attacked a Junior High School (JHS) teacher of Kiddies College at Gomoa-Budumburam in the Gomoa East district of the Central Region,

The attack perpetrated on Emmanuel Bekoe follows his decision to sack a form 3 student for wearing bathroom slipper to class, according to an eyewitness.

Reports say the said student angrily walked out of the class and shortly after that the purported land guards besieged the school premises and attacked Emmanuel Bekoe and other teachers.

Narrating his ordeal to Accra-based Adom FM, Emmanuel Boekoe said “The form 3 student came with a bathroom slipper. She left the campus and brought men who were land guards to come and beat. They came to question me and tried to beat me but I didn’t mind them.

“They held my shirt and threatened me. They came to the school with her mother and forced me out of the class and beat me mercilessly.”

Meanwhile, the Central Regional police have initiated investigations into the incident.
