French coach Alain Giresse has named a 27-man provisional squad, as the Eagles of Mali prepare for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Gabon next year January.
The squad will be trimmed down to 23 to meet the 4th January deadline for the submission of the final squad.
Mali have been drawn in group D which has Ghana, Uganda and Egypt.
