Ghanaian players miss out on CAF Best XI

The Black Stars in addition to failing to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup had no player on CAF'S finest XI for the qualifiers.

Not even Thomas Partey who has been Ghanas best player this season could secure place in the Confederation of African Football best XI for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Ghana failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first tim in four editions and aside qualificaion worries none of the paying body was able to impress.

North Africans dominated the list with six strong men coming from that part of the African continent with four from West Africa

Denis Onyango (Uganda); Serge Aurier (Ivory Coast), Ahmed Hegazi (Egypt), Leon Balogun (Nigeria), Aly Maaloul (Tunisia); Victor Moses (Nigeria), Sadio Mane (Senegal), Youssef Msakni (Tunisia), Mbark Boussoufa (Morocco), Khalid Boutain (Morocco); Mohamed Salah (Egypt).
