Ghanaian sports loving fans took to their social media platforms to share their sentiment after the Black Stars failed to book a place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Ghana who were on six points prior to the match day 5 of the World Cup qualifiers needed to beat Uganda in Kampala, while expecting Congo to at least get a draw against Egypt.

However, they drew goalless against Uganda in a controversial manner, whereas Mohammed Salah’s late minute penalty handed Egypt a 2-1 win and eventually qualified them for their first FIFA World Cup since 1990.

Several Ghanaian were happy for the Black Stars failure to book a place in Russia and this is how they expressed it.
