Mr Pius Hadzide has been made to return back into his post after being cleared of all wrong doing by the Criminal Investigations Department of the Ghana Police Service.
This follows the CID completing investigation of the alleged Visa racketeering scandal which hit the Ghana Olympic Committee as the nation participiated in the Commonwealth Games earlier this year.

Deputy Sports Minister Pius Hadzide, National Sports Authority Board Chairman Kwadwo Baah Agyemang and National Sports Authority Director General Robert Sarfo Mensah were suspended for being involved in a scandal which had 60 Ghanaians deported for posing as journalist
In the midst of investigations, Kwadwo Baah-Agyemang and Pius Enam Hadzide were cleared of wrong doing as no adverse findings were found against them in the report submitted to the President of Ghana.

The decision to reinstate these two government appointees was announced by Eugene Arhin.
