Earlier this week, a professor's two adorable tots nearly broke the internet when they unwittingly waddled into his home office as he was taping a live interview with the BBC. And it was SO good.

Robert Kelly, an expert on East Asian affairs, was in in the middle of doing a live TV interview with the BBC to discuss the impeachment of South Korea's president when his 4-year-old daughter Marion burst into the room, totally stealing dad's spotlight.

Kelly tries to save face and gently push her out of the shot but then comes 8-month-old son James, wheeling into the office in his baby walker. But it's not over. Realizing what has happened, Kelly's wife, Kim Jung-A, slides into the room à la Tom Cruise in Risky Business, ducking to try to stay out of the shot and grab the couple's kids. It's a comedy of errors—pure internet gold.

Initially, the family faced some controversy on social media. Critics called Kelly's initial reaction to push Marion out of the shot harsh, and many people made the racist assumption that Kelly's wife was the nanny. But in a follow-up interview, the family set the record straight.

“We said to each other, ‘Wow, what just happened?’ ” Kelly told the Wall Street Journal. “I made this minor mistake [of not locking the door] that turned my family into YouTube stars. It’s pretty ridiculous.”

In a follow-up interview with the BBC, he added that people's assumptions about his wife made them "pretty uncomfortable." Overall though, the couple said that people's reactions have been supportive. In a statement, they said they were "flattered by the many gentle sentiments," they've recieved from around the world, per the Huffington Post.

Asked about his daughter's incredible swagger, Kelly explained that she was in a "hippity-hoppity mood" after a school party earlier that day, according to the Telegraph.

The video has even inspired some pretty great spoofs—like how a mom would handle the same situation. One video shows a mom handling the tots and diffusing a bomb without breaking her concentration for the interview.

The family has become so notorious, they even had a press conference to talk about the video with the South Korean media. It should come as no surprise that Marion and her sass was the total star. Can we get some of this girl's swagger? Confidence #goals.
