All the times we cried at weddings

Personally, I always cry at weddings. Tears at weddings are happy tears. A wedding marks the beginning and ending of chapters in our lives.

Trust me, shedding tears at weddings have come to stay. It is the new normal and recurring moment at all types of wedding.

Be honest, how best can you express your deep passion and love without some few drops of tears?

It is people’s way of expressing how excited and passionate their feel about each other or how romantic the ambience is when the bride and groom are saying ‘I do’.

It is quite disappointing to see brides ruining their makeup with tears as the critics will say. But it’s okay to see couple crying on their big day after months and probably years of planning a wedding.

At some point during the ceremony, wedding guests always shed tears due to some soul touching sight or speech.

In our everyday lives, people cry when sad circumstances have hit them and rejoice when they hear the lovely news.

So, why do we cry at weddings?

Believe it or not, one of the most beautiful sight is when a bride walks down the aisle in her stunning gown, gorgeous shoes and matching makeup.

Unlike some woman who hire bridesmaid, most men usually use their secondary school or university mates as best men. These best men are acquainted with all secrets and doings of the groom. These people are the  best to deliver a heart melting testimony about the groom which comes as a surprise to men including the groom’s parents

Let the fireworks begin. Just hearing those all-important words come out of the bride’s mouth as she looks tenderly into the eyes of the love of her life witnessed by family and friends is enough reason to melt everyone's heart including herself.

Whether it's during the vows or a toast to the couple at dinnertime, seeing the parents get all weepy-eyes over the marriage will open up the floodgates for everyone else (okay, probably just the women once again, but still). It's just too darn sweet!
