It seems Nigerian yahoo boys have moved on to bigger scam, as they emailed British website Anorak last week claiming a Nigerian astronaut has been trapped in space for the past 25 years and needs $3 million (900 million Naira) to get back to Earth.

The hilarious message going viral on the internet claimed that "Abacha Tunde -- allegedly Africa's first man in space -- was left trapped on board a Soviet spacecraft when the USSR dissolved."
"His other Soviet crew members returned to Earth on the Soyuz T-16Z, but his place was taken up by return cargo," his cousin Dr. Bakare Tunde claims.
He added that rescuing Mr Abacha would cost at least $ 3,000,000 (9 Million Naira).
