ISIS fighters are paid $1,000 each a month

Sick ISIS does not expect the thousands of twisted, brainwashed people who have flocked to Syria and Iraq to fight its cause to do it for nothing.

A US Treasury spokesman has revealed that ISIS currently manages a wage bill of up to £240m ($360m).

This is because its fighters, who number about 30,000 according to official estimates, are each paid about £650 a month, or $1,000.

This seems a little low considering the barbaric acts ISIS terrorists are expected to carry out.

It emerged today that since ISIS declared a caliphate in June last year, they have carried out more than 3,500 executions, with 77 chilren among the people murdered by the evil cult, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

They also must endure risk their lives under the daily bombardment of air strikes from Vladimir Putin's Russia and the US-led coalition, with Moscow claiming to have hit more than 1,000 targets since it started a bombing campaign in Syria at the end of September.

ISIS rakes in about £1bn from looting banks and illicit oil proceeds, according to the Treasury Department spokesman.

He told Sputnik: "Our most recent estimates that we can provide publicly are between $500m (£325m) and $1bn (£650m) in seized bank assets, based on 2014 data.

"Earlier this year, ISIL made about $40m (£26m) in one month from the sale of oil…that equals close to $500m (£325m) a year."

ISIS's oil racket has cost Iraq up to 400,000 barrels of oil every day and billions of pounds by selling oil abroad at low prices on the black market, it is reported.

The spokesman added that ISIL makes millions every year from extortion, the sale of antiquities, kidnapping for ransom and foreign donations.

It has been reported that ISIS has been left strapped for cash by air strikes on its assets and the millions of deserting migrants depriving it of tax revenues.

This is key because it need funds to pay fighters such as Jihadi John, the British-born beheader, up to £650 a month.
