Google Inc.'s Chief Executive Officer, Sundar Pichai, has been awarded $199 million stock grant, making him the highest paid CEO in the world.

He was awarded 273,328 shares in Google's parent company Alphabet on February 3 that will vest in quarterly increment if he stays on the job through 2019, according to a regulatory filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
