The WWDC is one of the premier tech events there is in the world but this is usually for the Apple fanatics. The one event which also doubles as the birth-land of innovations.

Apple’s WWDC event on Monday was more of a software oriented than hardware. The iOS 10 was unveiled with some new upgrades.

Siri, a computer programme that works as an intelligent personal assistant on the iPhone has also been opened to developers as Apple seek to integrate Siri into third-party apps.

The messaging app on iPhones called iMessage was given a huge revamp, an upgrade that makes Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger look so 1957.

Web links will now preview inside the message app with access to watching videos from a link inside the app without being redirected.

The ‘Bubble effects’ makes text in iMessage become bigger or smaller depending on how you want to communicate your message.

Apple also gave the opportunity to blur a sent message in cases of delivering surprises like those three magical words that could make the world come crashing down: “I am broke”.
