Enos Adepa disappointed with 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oaks

Wa All Stars coach disappointed with draw against Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.

The Wa based side could have stretched their lead at the top with a win but the Phobians frustrated them to earn a draw. Kofi Yeboah scored the first goal for the host in the 59th minute but the away side pulled even in the 71st through Samuel Yeboah.

And according to Adepa, his side should have win the game regarding the kind of performance his charges put up.

“I’m very disappointed with the scoreline looking at the performance by players put up. It was a game we should have won because we outplayed Hearts of Oak but that is football so I’m highly disappointed with the scoreline” Adepa said after the game.

“From the blast of the whistle you could see that Hearts of Oak came for a draw, you could see from their defensive approach, five minutes into the game their goalkeeper was even delaying.”

Wa All Stars despite their stalemate still lead the log sheet with 42 points and they will be playing as guests to relegation threatening side New Edubiase in their next game.
