Asamoah Gyan is now Ghana’s all-time top scorer in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) competition.
Gyan, who scored the Black Stars’ first goal in the 19th minute in their game against Mali on Saturday, has now scored 50 goals for the Black Stars and taken his AFCON tally to eight goals.
The 31-year-old striker in 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil scored his 6th goal in the Mundial to become Africa's all-time top scorer in the World Cup, beating legendary Roger Milla's feat.
