The former FC Khartoum FC coach says African coaches are equally good as foreign ones when given the desired support

Appiah was handed a two-year contract last week Tuesday after beating off competition from Willy Sagnol and Hugo Broos.
The ex-Black Stars and Asante Kotoko skipper thinks African coaches are up to task like their foreign counterparts
"We are Africans and we believe in ourselves, the most important is for our FA Presidents to have confidence in us and give us the supports they would have given any other coach," he said.
"I think if they do that they won't think of going outside for a coach,"
Appiah was given befiting farewell in the course of this week by Khartoum FC before leaving Sudan for London to visit his family.
The 56-year-old will resume job on his return as Black Stars coach on May 1.
