Andre Ayew was cheered on by several Ghanaians living in Gabon and other nationals who have love for football when the Black Stars had their first training in Port Gentil.
The Black Stars’ arrival in Gabon was delayed by a day due to bad weather in the United Arab Emirates, where they had their preparation for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, so instead of commencing training on Saturday, they rather began on Sunday.

Security at the training grounds was very tight, as the fans were not allowed to enter the inner perimeter during the training session, but they chanted Andre Ayew's name and he had to grant them audience by interacting with them them.
