Ghana winger Frank Acheampong makes Europa Team of the week

Frank Acheampong has named in the UEFA Europa League Team of the week, after he powered Anderlecht to a 2-0 victory on Thursday.

Acheampong scored in the 5th minute and 31st minute to inspire his side to 2-0 victory ahead of the second leg of the round of 16 of the second most glamorous competition in Europe.

Goalkeeper: Andre Onana (Ajax)

The Cameroon goalkeeper denied Legia to keep his fifth consecutive clean in all competitions for the Dutch giants.

Defender: Timofei Kalachev (Rostov)

Solid at the back and provided a delicious cross for Dmitri Poloz to net Rostov's second.

Defender: Numan Çürüksu (Osmanlıspor)

The captain led by example as the Turkish side held Olympiacos to a goalless draw in Greece.

Defender: Benedikt Höwedes (Schalke)

Helped Schalke keep a fourth consecutive clean sheet in the UEFA Europa League and set up Max Meyer to double Schalke's advantage at PAOK.

Midfielder: Lucas Tousart (Lyon)

Playmaker set up Gent's winner against Tottenham and twice went close to scoring himself.
