Ghana striker Bernard Tekpetey sent off as Schalke 04 beat Nice 2-0 

Bernard Tekpetey saw red as his side defeated the French side 2-0 in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.

The 19-year-old who earned a starting place at Schalke 04 went into the referee’s books  in the 50th minute and as the game was heading to a close he was yellow carded again and was matched off in the process.

Tekpetey’s compatriot Baba Rahman lasted the entire minutes for Schalke 04 to help his side win 2-0.

Yevheniy Konoplyanka scored the opener for the hosts in the 14 minute, before Dennis Aogo doubled their lead in the 80th minute.
