English Premier League club Chelsea FC are considering a transfer move for Shanghai SIPG striker Asamoah Gyan.

A year on, another transfer news breaks.

English Premier League club Chelsea have shown transfer interest in the signing of Ghana international Asamoah Gyan according to CaughtOffside.

Shanghai SIPG are considering offloading their forward who transferred from Al Ain last year as Gyan has struggled with injuries during his time in China.

The former Sunderland player’s $350,000-a-week salary which makes him the world’s sixth best player is also a worry for the Chinese Super League side who need their star man playing.

Shanghai SIPG are considering a move for Zenit St. Petersburg’s striker Hulk to replace Africa’s highest scorer at a FIFA World Cup tournament.

Chelsea have been alerted of Asamoah Gyan’s availability and are considering a move to take the Black Stars captain back to the English Premier League.

The Stamford Bridge outfit are however not willing to meet Gyan’s earnings at his current club.

New Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is also reported to be interested in signing Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah who is currently with Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
