Andre Ayew performed brilliantly in his debut season at Swansea, attracting transfer interest from a host of clubs across Europe.
The former Olympique Marseille player also had great moments in Wales and could not leave the club he scored 12 goals for last season without a touch of a warm ‘Thank you’.
Ayew after his transfer move took to his Twitter page to say his farewell posting:
“I would like to thank everyone at Swansea City, the players, coaching staff, medical, the admin, support staff and the Mgt as well as the glorious Jack Army for a fantastic last 12months. Andre Ayew will reunite with West Ham’s Dimitri Payet, a player he played with at Olympique Marseille in the French Ligue 1.
The Black Stars vice-captain will were the number 20 shirt at English Premier League club West Ham United.
