Andy Murray has revealed that Jonas Bjorkman will no longer be part of his coaching team after Amelie Mauresmo returned from maternity leave.

Former world number four Bjorkman was employed by Murray earlier this year and took on a more significant role when Mauresmo had leave before giving birth in August.

Mauresmo has now resumed her role as Murray's coach, with Swede Bjorkman surplus to requirements.

Two-time grand slam champion Murray posted on Facebook: "Nice to have Amelie back in the team out in Dubai. Thanks to Jonas for helping out this year.

"I enjoyed working with one of the nicest guys on the tour, bring on 2016."

Murray inspired Great Britain to Davis Cup glory against Belgium last month and will finish the year as the world number two.

The Scot will take February off the ATP Tour in order to care for his first child.
