485 children took part in the exercise from the age of five (5) to fourteen (14 ) years
Medals ranging from gold, silver and bronze plus certificate and school bags were awarded to the first three winners in each division.
Latifah Mohammed won the overall female best fighter and was awarded table top fridge whiles Emmanuel Mensah also emerged as best male fighter and was awarded bicycle .
Special awards was also given to Jason Moreson and Vedant club from Kumasi who won the best Taekwondo club.
The president of Greater Accra Taekwondo Association, Mr.Norbert Amefu and who also double as the founder of the Norlympics stated that, he was much impressed with the performance of the athletes compared to previous edition and will give this year's edition eight out of ten 8/10 because the children showed more techniques in the game and that states how hard the instructors are impacting the knowledge onto the kids.
He also added that the reason behind the competition has been achieved.
"Ghana lack Taekwondo players that's why we always come from International competition with empty handed so i decided to start from the kids so that they will grow with the sport and i hope they will bring an Olympic medal in the near future,” he told
