Black Stars midfielder's return prompts mixed reactions

How social media reacted to Sulley Muntari's apology to the Ghana Football Association.

The Ghana international was suspended from the senior national team, the Black Stars due to indiscipline at the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.

The former AC Milan and Inter Milan midfielder making himself available for selection by Avram Grant raised some reactions from social media.

Here's how twitter reacted to Muntari's apology:

selfish man..this apology even shows he is so selfish. he should be forgiven but never allowed to play the black stars. we now have the people with quality exposed in any match they play. with this current black stars team we can take the afcon with the world cup

Why didn't he apologized during the time they were playing the qualifications,if GFA makes sulley play among the black star team then I think GH football association is lucking of knowledge ,although his apology has to be accepted but he doesn't qualify to be part of the senior team now,if he's truly regretted of his indecent behavior he should have apologized and helped his colleagues to play the qualifications.

if muntari wants a comeback then it buttresses the point players want the blackstars more than the blackstars wants them so its rediculous paying those high bonuses in dollars. I said it somewhere that lets dare scrap bonuses and players will even rush to come. it is mr nyantakyi who has imposed those high bonuses in dollars on us

He needs to be part of the team if Ghana want to win afcon, these boys r equally good but their fighting spirit is low

I think is good for Muntari for doing this because we use to says if water takes your child away want you drink water again.... we will welcome you back ok cox you've done a lot for us in the black stars

Since he suspended frm national team my heart no more for de team coz he is serious nd pay attention always call up for de team so am happy dats he apologized,may Àllah bless him nd bless GFA to call back.
