Jon Benjamin in Twitter brawl with Avram Grant's PR

This tweet fired up Saif Rubie, the spokesperson of Ghana coach Avram Grant.

The British High Commissioner to Ghana has been engaged in yet another social media storm.

During Ghana’s 1-0 victory over Uganda, the diplomat tweeted saying the Black Stars were ‘frustrating’ to watch.

He tweeted: Watching the Black Stars is sometimes every bit as frustrating as watching West Ham. What did Avram Grant say to them at half time?

This tweet fired up Saif Rubie, the spokesperson of Ghana coach Avram Grant. He responded by tweeting this response at Jon Benjamin: Why do you talk so much rubbish? Stick to being a politician instead of a football pundit lol 3 points and solid performance is a good start

This is not the first time, the British High Commissioner has caused controversy with his tweets.

Late last year, he was the target of social media vitriol after he tweeted a joke that appeared to mock Ghana’s ex-president John Mahama who had lost an election a few days earlier.
