Isaac Coffie hints he will stay at Genoa

Coffie has stressed he feels appreciated by the Genoa fans and is eager to prolong his time at the club.

Isaac Coffie insists he wants to stay at Genoa despite continued speculation over his future.

The Ghanaian midfielder's Serie A adventure could end any time soon as English side Watford and Bundesliga side Hoffenheim keep taps on him.

Coffie has been in tremendous form this season for his side heightening interest from the two sides.

The two sides are expected to dash out a huge transfer fee in their bid to land the 25 year old Rossoblu.

However, Coffie has stressed he feels appreciated by the Genoa fans and is eager to prolong his time at the club.

He told Tuttomercatoweb: "To me Genoa has a family, of which I am proud to be part. Despite some important way, when I'm in Italy, I always felt Rossoblu.

"I have Genoa in the heart, and we hope to continue. I'd like to stay, but now I have to do the assessments.

Coffie added: "I'm happy here now, and whatever happens I will always be grateful to the President, and technical staff.
