Agyeman Badu's Udinese crushed by Roma

Substitute Diego Perotti converted two penalties before setting up another goal as likely title-challenger Roma produced a second-half outburst to beat visiting Udinese.

Ghana's Emmanuel Agyemang Badu caused a penalty as his side Udinese succumbed to a 4-0 away defeat at AS Roma in the Serie A opener Saturday.

Perotti's first spot kick came in the 65th after Edin Dzeko used a sharp change of direction to make defender Danilo fall on top of him.

Mohamed Salah turned on the turbo to burst into the box and was clumsily brought down by Emmanuel Badu, so Perotti converted his second penalty of the night. He became the first player to convert two spot-kicks in the same Serie A match since Vincenzo Montella in 2002.

Dzeko made it 3-0 from close range with his ninth Serie A goal in the 82nd and Salah finished things off two minutes later after taking a long pass from Perotti.
