I take the blame for Hearts defeat to WAFA

The Portuguese trainer has admitted that his team disappointed against WAFA

The Phobians were the only side undefeated in away fixtures this season, but WAFA also boast of an impressive home record entering into the tie at Sogakope on Saturday.

In the end WAFA added Hearts of Oak to their list of casualties at home, when they hammered the Accra giants a 3-0 defeat.

Sergio Tranguil has admitted his side failed to live up to the billing and he takes the responsibility for the loss.

“The team disappointed and I take the responsibility for that because I am the coach. But I have confidence in my players.”

The last time Hearts of Oak lost by 3-0 was against Wa All Stars on match day 16 of the 2013-14 Ghana Premier League season: Hearts lost 6-0 on aggregate against the Wa-based side in a back to back fashion.
