We deserved all the three points

Hearts of Oak could have walked away with all the maximum, if they had taken their chances against Asante Kotoko.

Asante Kotoko shot into the lead in the first half through Kwame Boateng, before Patrick RazaK got the equaliser for Hearts of Oak in the early minutes of the second half.

The Phobians opened fire on the hosts in the second half and created several goal scoring chances. However, they failed to put the balls at the back of the net.

The Portuguese trainer, believes his charges did everything to get all the three points, but were unfortunate not to get the match winner.

“I knew the game was going to be a difficult one, because Kotoko is a good side. A lot of people believe that due to Kotoko’s 4-1 defeat to Dwarfs were were going to have it easy with them, but I told the team that Asante Kotoko would come into the game strongly.

“We did enough to win the game considering the numerous chances were created. I am not satisfied because I didn’t win all the three points, but playing against Kotoko and earning a draw is good, but I think we deserved all three points, if we had taken our chances "

Accra Hearts of Oak are still undefeated under the Sergio Tragul, having won three and drawn three , since taking over the team in the second half of the season.
