2016 keeps getting worse for Serge Aurier.

The Ivorian star is in the news for all the wrong reasons for the umpteenth time this year.

His latest predicament sees him come under investigation for a controversial celebration during his country's 2018 World Cup qualifying win against Mali.

World football governing body FIFA has said a 'preliminary investigation is under way' after the 23-year-old appeared to be performing the 'slit-throat' gesture to fans in celebration.

Months back in February, he was suspended by his French club PSG after allegedly using homophobic language in insulting then-coach Laurent Blanc.
