Hasaacas forward confirms Hearts of Oak and Kotoko interest

Hasaacas has been relegated and I don’t think I will join them for Division One - Samuel Afful

Samuel Afful

Afful is one of the most sought after players in the Ghana Premier League following his splendid display for his relegated side in the just ended domestic top-flight championship.

On the final day of the season, Afful climaxed his season’s performance by striking brace in his side’s 3-0 win over newly crowned champions Wa All Stars at the Essipong Sports Stadium.

“Both Hearts of Oak and Kotoko have expressed interest in me by writing to my club during the course of the season, but because we weren’t faring well in the league they didn’t allow me to move,” Afful told Pulse.com.gh.

“The season has ended and the two clubs have still expressed their interest in me but I’m waiting for my club for approval.”

The former Black Satellites forward added:

“Hasaacas has been relegated and I don’t think I will join them for Division One. I will be looking elsewhere. Hearts of Oak and Kotoko have targeted me so I will look at what they will present on the table.”

Afful at the end of the season was Hasaacas’ second top scorer with seven league goals, after Eric Bekoe’s eight goals.
