Berekum Chelsea have been relying on youth players and unknown names as core of their team, so a promising star might emerge from their end  this season too.

They escaped relegation on the final day of the league, when they defeated Techiman City to condemn their fellow Brong Ahafo side to relegation last season, so they would have to thread cautiously this term.

Chelsea have won all their home games on match day two since they gained promotion to play in the Ghana Premier league in the 2008-09 season.

The Porcupine Warriors started their season with a win against Liberty Professionals when they came from a goal down to beat the Scientific Soccer lads 2-1.

Asante Kotoko were busy in the transfer market: They lost a top notch striker in the person of Dauda Mohammed, but they have beefed up their team with the inclusion of the likes of Kwame Boahene, Abass Mohammed, Yakubu Mohammed, etc.

Yakubu Mohammed, the former AshGold striker opened his Kotoko goal account with a brace on the opening day of the season.

However, Kotoko will be missing the services of skipper Amos Frimpong, who suffered arm injury against Liberty Professionals last week Sunday.
