Goalkeeper set the tone for Asante Kotoko's victory when he saved Hearts of Oak's first kick from Vincent Atingah, before Robin Gnagne wasted the Phobians second kick, whereas the Porcupine Warriors scored all their four kicks, with Saddick Adams scoring the fourth to win the day for the hosts.
Asante Kotoko dominated play Accra Hearts of Oak in the replay of the President’s Cup on Monday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors came close to scoring in the first half yet they fluffed all the vital chances that came their way. Hearts also came into picture in some moments of the first 45 minute.
After the interval Asante Kotoko made the game one sided, as they pinned Hearts of Oak to their own half with incessant pressure.
The brightest chance that was created was a cross from Augustine Safah which found Baba Mahama,yet his header hit the side post to give the visitors some relief.
The likes of Emmanuel Gyamfi, Saddick Aams had their turns, but they couldn’t break the deadlock.
Asante Kotoko fans shouted at the Hearts of Oak players to get them confused and that seeming had a toll on them during the penalty shootout as they wasted their first two kicks
Vincent Atingah, Hearts of Oak’s most reliable penalty taker had his kick saved by Felix Annan and one time the best penalty expert in the Ghana Premier League Robin Gnagne sent his kick over the cross bar, before Richard Akrofi scored the first for Hearts
Amos Frimpong scored the first kick of the shoot out and his three other teammates, Evans Quao, Jackson Owusu and Saddick Adams followed suit by scoring their kicks.
The game was rained off on Sunday when the game was one all after 75 minutes played, hence the organisers rescheduled it for Monday.
