Pre-season Tourney GHALCA to stage G-6 on November 5

League champions Wa All Stars, Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak, Medeama, Asante Kotoko and 2016 FA Cup champions Bechem United will take part in the tournament.

Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) have confirmed that this year’s pre-season competition will be G-6 Tournament instead of the usual Top-four Tourney.

The clubs that will be partaking in the upcoming competition are Wa All Stars, Aduana Stars, Hearts of Oak, Medeama, Asante Kotoko and 2016 FA Cup champions Bechem United.

According to the organizers, the event will be launched on October 29th in Kumasi and the tournament has been billed to come off on November 5th to December 4th.

The venue chosen for the competition are the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Accra Sports Stadium and the Sunyani Coronation Park.

In a related issue, GHALCA will be organizing a mini tourney to welcome the three promoted Division One Clubs into the Premier League. The competing clubs are Great Olympics, Elmina Sharks, the yet to be declared winner of Zone 1, and the 2nd best placed team in Division One League.

The tournament will be organized on October 30th as part of the G-6 Tournament launch.
