Accra Hearts of Oak game against Aduana Stars on Thursday evening has been postponed due to power failure at the Essipong Sports Stadium, making it impossible for the floodlight to be used.
The Essipong Sports Stadium at Sekondi which has been out of the national grid, since December over debts owed to the ECG, so the stadium has since been depending on a generator for power.
However, despite several tests conducted earlier ahead of the game, the generator failed to function, with some few minutes to the Accra Hearts of Oak game against Aduana Stars, after the Ashgold goalless draw game against Berekum Chelsea at the same venue.
The organisers of the tournament have postponed the game to a date yet to be announced.
