Scenes from the Black Stars first at training

Twenty-one out of the twenty-four players invited for Ghana's tie against Uganda showed up for Black Stars first training session

Three players namely Jeffery Schlupp, Thomas Partey and Adam Kwarasey were the only players who missed training on Tuesday.

Coach Avram Grant and his assistant Maxwell Konadu took the team through series of training sessions, where the playing body were group into two teams.

Training started at 10:20 am and ended at 12:00 am, after which the players and the management interacted with the media.

It would be recalled that the Black Stars were supposed to train on Monday, but it was cancelled due to the late arrival of most of the playing body from their club base abroad.

According to the communications director of the Ghana Football Association, the team will travel to Tamale on Wednesday and continue training the same day after paying a courtesy call on some of the eminent chiefs in the area.

They will also train on Thursday and finally do a shake-up on Friday morning before the game.
