Kwesi Appiah will start job as Black Stars coach on May 1

Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah arrived at the Kotoko International Airport on Friday (today) to resume job as the next coach of the senior national male football team of Ghana.

The 56-year-old beat off competition from Hugo Bros and Willy Sagnol to land the Black Stars job as Avram Grant’s successor.

Appiah on his return as the coach of the senior national male football team of Ghana was handed a two-year deal.

He arrived at the Airport on Friday at 11:30am ahead of the official resumption of duty on May 1.

Several journalists and football fans trooped to the Kotoka International Airport to welcome Kwesi Appiah on his arrival.
