The Barcelona player is reported to have created a Panamanian corporation called Mega Star Enterprises Inc., a day after authourities said he evaded 4.1 million euros.
In a massive leak of documents, Messi is mentioned in the report by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists stating:
“The world’s best soccer player, Lionel Messi, is also found in the documents. The records show Messi and his father were owners of a Panama company: Mega Star Enterprises Inc.

“This adds a new name to the list of shell companies known to be linked to Messi. His offshore dealings are currently the target of a tax evasion case in Spain.”
The investigation involves more people than those in sports with 12 current and former world leaders including Russian President Vladimir Putin.
