Black Starlets coach names provisional squad for CAF U-17 Championship

Paa Kwasi Fabin, the head coach of the national under 17 football team has named a provisional 25-man squad for the upcoming Africa Under 17 Championship in Gabon.

The team, which leaves for Gabon on May 5, 2017 for pre-tournament preparations, will be pruned down to 21 before the tournament begins on May 14.

Ghana U17 provisional squad:

Defenders: Bismark Terry Owusu (Mandela Soccer Academy), Kingsley Owusu (Dreams FC), Najeeb Yakubu (New Town Youth), Nana Kwame Antwi (Accra Young Wise), Rashid Alhassan (Aduana Stars), Razak Yusuf (FC Tanga), Faisal Osman (Kumasi Young Vipers),Gideon Acquah (Accra United), John Otu (Dreams FC)

The African Under 17 Championship begins on May 14 to May 28, 2017 in Gabon. The tournament will also serve as qualifiers for the FIFA Under 17 Championship in India later this year.
