Leg-spinner Yasir Shah claimed his second 10-wicket haul in Tests to give Pakistan a series victory over West Indies in Abu Dhabi.

Yasir Shah produced another match-winning performance by taking 10 wickets as Pakistan beat a defiant West Indies by 133 runs to seal the Test series after Jermaine Blackwood fell agonisingly short of a deserved century.

Pakistan needed only six wickets to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series on day five, but had to be patient before they could celebrate victory over the spirited tourists in Abu Dhabi.

It was Yasir who did the majority of the damage once again, taking 6-124 to claim his second 10-wicket haul in the longest format as the Windies were all out for 322.

The masterful Yasir finished with match figures of 10-210 after another mesmerising display of leg-spinning at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, but the Windies showed plenty of character on Monday.

Blackwood made a classy 95, missing out on a second Test ton, and Shai Hope added 41 before Pakistan wrapped up a 10th consecutive win.

The Windies resumed in a perilous position on 171-4 and they were five down when Yasir had Roston Chase (20) caught behind in the 10th over of the day.

Pakistan might have had designs on finishing off the job before lunch, but the Windies hung around on a good pitch, with Blackwood looking very much at ease as he brought up a ninth Test half-century.

The Jamaican struck Sohail Khan for back-to-back boundaries, demonstrating lovely timing, and creamed two of the first three deliveries with the new ball from the same bowler through the covers for four.

Hope did the same to Yasir to bring up the 50 partnership, but the brilliant Blackwood missed out on a century when he misjudged a Yasir delivery which went on with the arm and struck him on the pad before clattering into the off stump.

Jason Holder casually eased Zulfiqar Babar (2-51) for six over wide long-on, but Yasir was celebrating another five-wicket haul after he trapped the Windies skipper leg before late in the morning session.

At 266-7 it seemed only a matter of time before the Windies were put out of their misery, but Hope frustrated Pakistan and Devendra Bishoo (26) also dug in before Babar got in on the act by dismissing the wicketkeeper.

Yasir had six when he got one to turn sharply from outside off stump and bowl Miguel Cummins without scoring after the paceman successfully reviewed an lbw decision and Babar got Bishoo to give Pakistan another victory.
