Imad Wasim produced an excellent performance with the ball as Pakistan completed a series whitewash over WorldTwenty20 champions West Indies on Tuesday.

Pakistan had already secured the three-match series and a dominant display in Abu Dhabi ensured a 3-0 margin of victory.

And it was the left-arm spin of all-rounder Imad that proved the difference in the eight-wicket win as he took 3-21 to reduce the Windies to 103-5.

Shoaib Malik's unbeaten 43 ensured Pakistan reached their victory target with 29 balls left, as thoughts now turn to the three-match ODI series with the Windies.

Imad grabbed two wickets in the third over, Johnson Charles (5) paying the price for a dreadful shot as he was bowled, with Chadwick Walton departing for a first-ball duck in similar fashion.

A mix-up between Andre Fletcher (9) and Marlon Samuels (42 not out) saw the former run out despite a poor throw from Rumman Raees and Dwayne Bravo fell to a flatter Imad delivery for 11 after the tide of wickets was briefly stemmed.

Samuels' show of defiance ensured the Windies did not completely collapse, but his pedestrian 59-ball innings was nowhere near enough to give the visitors a defendable total.

Debutant Kesrick Williams claimed the wickets of both Sharjeel Khan (11) and Khalid Latif (21) to leave Pakistan on 40-2 but Malik, who hit four boundaries and a six in 34 balls, and Babar Azam's unbeaten 27 from 24 deliveries guided Pakistan to an easy win.
