NRL: Dragons helping police after brawl reports

St George Illawarra Dragons have confirmed they are assisting police with their enquiries after two of their players were reportedly arrested.

St George Illawarra Dragons have confirmed they are assisting police with their enquiries after two of their players were allegedly involved in a drunken incident.

Local reports suggest that Tim Lafai and Siliva Havili were arrested after their involvement in a brawl in Wollongong.

A club statement read: "The St George Illawarra Dragons were today made aware that certain contracted players were involved in an incident that occurred in Wollongong on Saturday night.

"The club and individuals concerned are cooperating with Police in their enquiries. The NRL Integrity Unit has been informed."

Lafai, 25, joined the Dragons this season, playing 16 games before being dropped to the Illawarra Cutters this month.

Havili, 23, played 10 games for the Dragons this year.
