Curry returns to face Trail Blazers in game four

The Golden State Warriors have been boosted by the return of Stephen Curry, who is listed as active for Monday's play-off against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Golden State Warriors have been boosted by the return of star point guard Stephen Curry, who is listed as active for Monday's NBA Western Conference semi-final play-off against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Golden State made the announcement prior to tip-off in game four in Portland after reigning NBA MVP Curry had missed more than two weeks of action due to a sprained right knee.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Curry will not have any minutes restrictions.

"It's more about what he can handle conditioning-wise. So we'll see what that means," said Kerr, whose Warriors lead the Trail Blazers 2-1.

"We really have to kind of do it on the fly. And I would kind of guess that he would play in shorter bursts, but if he's rolling, then we'll probably let him go for a little while." Curry has not played since straining his medial collateral ligament in game four of their first-round matchup against the Houston Rockets.

He has played in just four quarters for the Warriors since the play-offs began. The team is 4-2 in games in which he has not appeared this post-season.
