Kwadwo Asamoah is the solution to Black Stars poor form

Nii Lantey Vanderpuye believes the absence of the Juventus midfielder is the reason why Ghana has been struggling to grind out the results in recent times.

The Senior Male National Football Team of Ghana have failed to win any of their last five games and have picked up just a point in two 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying games.

Nii Lantey Vanderpuye is hopeful the comeback of Kwadwo Asamoah, who has been battling with injuries for the last two years will be the turnaround for the Black Stars.

''With the return of Kwadwo Asamoah and Asamoah Gyan in the next match. I think the absence of Kwadwo Asamoah is one of the reasons why we having the difficulties. He's a game changer, he's been magnificent in all our World Cup qualifying matches,'' he told Viasat TV.

''Him coming back into the team, let's pray injury does not any of our regular stars, we should be able to qualify to the World Cup.''
